AMSTERDAM CULTURAL POSTER
In my dutch design course we were tasked with creating a poster that incapsulated the culture of the city of Amsterdam. I chose to use an already established symbol for the city, three X's signifying the great flood, fire, and the great plague.These were three events that signified great traumatic events that forced change in the city. I shifted the attention away from these events and took three new symbols that better encapsulate a positive interpretation of change and modernization of Amsterdam. "Ons Huis": Our Home
